ICE-POINT ADJUSTMENT

Self-Calibration Function
It is recommended to recalibrate the thermometer before first use according to the ICE-WATER METHOD.
To calibrate, insert the probe into a glass full of crashed ice and fill with distilled water to 1/2” below ice. Ice should
not float. Immerse the thermometer stem into the mixture, avoiding contact with the sides of bottom of the glass.
Once the thermometer reading is stable, press and hold the [CAL] button to automatically correct the temperature
to 0°C, when the reading is between -1°C and +1°C. If the temperature is not between -1°C and +1°C, an
error [ERR] will show on the display.

**Note: Reading offset only apply when the reading of the ice water is between -1°C and +1°C
